OMGoodness!!! I am soooo sickly this week(sniffle...sniffle) it just feels like I'm moving in sllooooo motion all the time. Except for now since I'm typing pretty well LOL I'll be much better later on after I drug myself and get some sleep(which is the real culprit here..not my cold) it's amazing how sensitive my body is. I've been skimping on sleep lately for various reasons, and now I have a cold. Darn it!! Oh well I'll get over it.....
Work update: WOO HOO!!! I did my very 1st ear pearcing the other day. I have to applaud the guy who let me do it since he didn't even know me . I'm sure my dept. mgr thinks I'm a loon because I was soo proud that I didn't mame the guy or anything. That was my real concern was hurting/maming someone. I wasn't nervous about doing the piercing itself at all. Of course I didn't say that part while he was there...

HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY YAHOO!!! That site has definitely earned it's 10th birthday with all of the great products that they offer all rolled into one user account. Not only that but Yahoo! has combined forces with SouthWestern Bell to create a seamless gateway (SBC Yahoo!) for all SBC internet users(of which I am one ) and I've been a regular yahoo account holder since 98'.

Yahoo! is sooo great! They allow their users to be themselves no holds barred. To include your own personal page, profile, multiple IM ID's for those who have the "pleasure" of having a net "stalker"(so to speak), photo album that you can share and online file storage just to name a few. Unlike some other sites that offer some of the same features, they don't sensor you in the chatrooms, message boards etc.-unless you're one of the aforementioned net "stalkers" who have been reported-the user has total control over their account! Now how great is that??!! so again I say

HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY YAHOO!

Work update...Today was pretty cool. I was FINALLY able to get all of my work done and get all of the freight put away. So now there isn't a bazillion and six boxes lying all over the place looking raggady. I still forgot to dust(yest dust) off the sunglasses(again) but there's always next time. I don't think I'm ever going to get off while it's daylight EVER again. I'll get over it. I kinda like the night crew better than the day crew anyways since they are more "colorful" LOL. No shananagins tonight to speak of other than this one lady cleared out like four rings from me like 2 mins. till close and I didn't get to put new ones out.
Iv'e been soooo tired lately. I just realized that I really do need to start taking my breaks. It just doesn't seem like I'm doing that much work though. At least not until I get home that night and sit down for like three mins. or so. Eventually I'll start to remember to take my breaks like I'm supposed to.

This weekend has been soooo busy at work. I feel bad for just about every man that came into the store. Just about ALL of them were totally clueless about what they were going to get the women in their lives for V-Day. I was like C'mon...work with me here!!! Even the older men-who you would think had it together-didn't have a clue as to what they were going to get. There were a few that were just HILARIOUS though. But I guess all that doesn't matter, it's the thought that counts...bla...bla...bla Tomorrow should be just as busy/entertaining. I finally decided to quit bein' a lazy bum and cooked my lunch tonight so I won't have to spend half of my lunch going across the parking lot to get food. Baked Chx wings and rice. It's going to be sooooo fire!!!(good) LOL AW SNAP!! It's 2am!! I'm going to be tired as all get out tomorrow....

Today I heard from somebody I haven't spoken to in YEARS!! It was cool. Anyways, I have soooo many stories from tha gig I can't even find time to type them all tonight. So I'll just do a couple or ten
Well tonight I was off but had to stop in for a few things. There was this lady and her kids in the middle of the asile and I said "excuse me" nobody moved they kept talking so I said it again the woman said ok and still nobody moved. So then I said it kinda loud and she decided to glare at me like I gave a crap. I mean c'mon...personally I thought I was being nice by not just pushing one of them out of my way.
NEXT...a guy is at the Jewelry counter getting a ring for is soon to be fiance and he's being all cheap trying to get her a thirty dollar, ruby birthstone ring for an engagement ring. Since I wasn't on the clock, I was able to give my honest opinion when asked. I said "HE** NAW" don't go in there w/that crap!!! My co-workers were cracking up at me but I was so serious I was just trying to do my civic duty and not get that brutha cut when tryin go propose.
NEXT...a customer had a check that he printed up at home and didn't understand why they couldn't use it to pay for their items. They tried to explain to them that anyone who got their account number could easily get the routing number and then print up checks at home. Genius decided to get irate and yells at the manager "I will befriend this policy! I don't appreciate it at all! Maybe I won't shop here anymore!!" ok now I'm hoping that I wasn't the only one who realized that BEFRIEND didn't belong in that little tirade I went to the break room and was CRACKING UP!!! Ok that's all I can think of for now but man I have a million of'em!!!!
School update...well by the end of this year I WILL be in school since the wonderful and oh so friendly IRS took my little return and applied it to my old student loan. Which I'm not all that mad about since it's finally over and done with. I'm just mad I couldn't afford to pay them on my own. Oh well too late. I'm thinking of just going back to my original passion in Architecture since EVERYTHING dealing with computers is sooooo saturated, the chance of me accually getting a job seems to be slim to none. So my passion has officially won. For now anyways. The more I think about it the more the decision becomes clouded. I'll get it together...kinda have to since I'm spending my own $ on it.

Hello.com From reading this site, it seems like it'll be a promising picture sharing prog. to use vs. me trying to upload pictures to my site anytime I want to share something. Then from the looks of it if I share an album w/somebody, they don't have to sign up for anything just to view my pictures. That I think is very cool. Having to sign up for something is so inconvenient when all you're tying to do is view something. Blah.

FINALLY...my pc is workin!!!! WOO HOOO!!! oh my goodness so much has been going on. I was almost stranded yesterday @ my moms house(NOOOOOOOO!!) since my key wouldn't turn so I could start my car. I then got yelled at(literally) for having on jeans @ work the other day. I found it rather funny since they acual yelling wasn't necessary. Then, this guy comes through my line to flirt with me which I was so flattered by I'm just glad he didn't ask me for my phone number since I would have had to say no. I bought my guy a shirt and tie today and his a** was very ungrateful I thought and didn't like it and wanted to get an attitude about it. I'm just like don't send me to buy stuff for you anymore then. I didn't see the logic in that at all. Why ask me to go get clothes so you can complain about it later. That's just redundant since I'm going to get myself somethin when I take his stuff back tomorrow am muhahahahaha :)

My site Well I haven't written anything here in a looong time. So uptate....
Home Interiors: I had decided to let it "go" since I didn't have the time or resources to put into my own business like I wanted to. But the woman who brought me in encouraged me to keep going so now I have to produce and make something of it. Especially since this is my 2nd time attempting to sell Home Interiors. It's a great product but just not a real market for it in my area since we have all the "mart's" are like around the corner and you can get stuff you want there...now and cheaper. However, the plan is definitely to give it a ginune attempt.
Work: Ok I now work for "wally-world" and it's ok I just hate having to deal w/all of the CRAZY folks that come there!!! Other than that, it's great. My coworkers are cool people and very helpful. It's kinda funny that some of my direct supervisors are younger than I am.
Reading: I had to pause on reading "The Red Church" for a while because I started reading something that was a little more interesting. This book is called "A Day Late and a Dollar Short" it's really good and made me cry on several occaisions. SO it was a really great book. Now I'm reading "Mama" it's ok so far...not as good as "A Day Late and a Dollar Short" so I think I'm going to go back to reading "The Red Church" shortly. I think my break was long enough to get over the wierdness.

I just finished a book written by Simonsays.com > SimonSays > Mary Higgins Clark called "Daddy's Little Girl" It was soooo goood!!!! It was great!! So now I have to invest in more of her writing. One of my friends told me to check this book out and now I'm glad that I listened to her. I also read a book called "Leslie" written by Omar Tyree. This book was GREAT!!! The way everying was seemingly connected to voudoo. The way the mysterious housemate Leslie's story just slowly unfolds with just enough peeking out to keep you captivated for a while longer. I've been reading alot lately. Aside from watching great movies and playing pc games that's my fav hobby to do while listening to classical music. I just hope the book I'm reading now is just as good as the aforementioned two that I've read already. It's called "The Red Church" I forget who it's written by for the moment. I'll think of it later though. So far, this book is pretty good/wierd LOL one of what I'm sure will be a main character later was reincarnated after being hung in his church where he was a pastor....the climax should prove to be very interesting.

Man it was total CRAZINESS @ work!!! I was there at 6am when they opened the doors and it was too funny!!! The people were literally RUNNING into the store!!! I was dying laughing. There were so many people in the electronics department that no one could get in. Then there was this one chik that passed by my department(Jewelry) like four times and she had an empty cart every time!! The tires on the cart screeching and all..man those customers were just hilarious. Even if I don't work there next year, I may go just to see the folks with their shenanagins LOL

I unfortunately missed the last debate only getting to see a few parts of it. Hopefully, it'll help those who were undecided make their choice. The only thing I hope for is that we don't have the same atrocity happen twice in a row. Then, getting young people to vote will be even more impossible. Resulting in none of the issues that concern young people being addressed. Although I do have to applaud all of the Celebes taking time out to get people motivated to get out there and vote, to have their opinions matter and needs attended to. Already you can see that it's working from watching the 2nd debate. I don't know if I was the only one who caught this but the Pres. did say "haters" when referring to the terrorists. Unfortunately, I was completely distracted by it and had to laugh. Not because it was funny(which to me it was) but because he needed to do something to make the young voters notice what he was saying. It's definitely a start. A funny one, but a start none the less.

Buy a T-Shirt - Citizen Change: Vote or DieI am SOOO MAD!! well not really mad that I missed the presidential debate the other day. I hear that Kerry did very well. I am just disappointed with the whole voting process right now I don't know what to do. I am registered to vote and I WILL be voting(hopefully there will be millions more aside from me) so maybe this time everything will go as it should this time. The 00' campaign was just crazy with all of the 'dimples' and all. Disappointed isn't even the word for what I felt when that whole thing went down. Truckloads TRUCKLOADS of votes not used, dead people voting, live voters turned away...I don't know about other cities, but in St. Louis it was crazy here. Hundreds of people turned away at the polls. Alot of peoples registration 'lost' or they 'didn't register'. Personally, I did know two people who's registration magically disappeared into oblivion when it came time for the presidential election. I had gotten my card and everything to vote and we registered at the same time too so I know that it should've went through. Then, when the next local election came around, those people got their cards like nothing happened. Craziness.....Just CRAZINESS

Ok it's been like ever sine I've posted. I have been up to so much. My pc was down for a while and I did get a chance to take advantage of the tax free sale MO had for that one weekend. Unfortunately, I really didn't get to buy a bunch of stuff for myself. I talked my bf into getting a jersey for himself since it was on sale for $60 and with the taxes being taken off, I told him he'll NEVER find that deal again.
Home Interiors update..... I haven't been doing much with Home Interiors since the last meeting I went to. Truly I want to but other things have just been taking front seat lately. At any rate, I still luv Home Interiors and want to sell some stuff so I can either move up that ladder or stay where I am and make some good money so I won't have to work a regular job.
Speaking of jobs.....that's what's been in the front seat since Home Interiors has been back seat driving lately. I've been trying to find a job that's really going to work out whenever I go back to school. I don't have alot of time before I go back. ARGH!!! I guess it'll happen when it does.
My daughter is UNFORTUNATELY not going to school this year. Missouri changed the rules as to when a child can go to kindergarden. WAAAAHHHH!!! the temptation to run around screaming and stomping my feet is so strong right now. But since she's looking, I guess that won't set a good example of how to react after dissappointment LOL.

Fortunately, I was able to take advantage of the tax-free weekend. WOO HOO!!! I talked my BF into getting a jersey for himself. He didn't want to get it but I told im that since the taxes were off, plus the jersey istelf was only 60 buks he'd NEVER find that kinda deal ever again in life. So, he got the jersey from Hibbet Sports and the sales people were very nice. I'll be shopping there again.

This past weekend, we found some Converse for my daughter and they were buy one get one free!!! I was soooo happy about that!! Especially since her shoes were only $22 that was like the BEST DEAL EVER!! Even though they were just chucks.

This weekend MO is doing a TAX-FREE sale!!! I was a little confused when I first found out because I'm like ok what details are with this because I know that They wouldn't just let us loose with a tax free thing over the weekend and not put any stipulations on it . Then on the news, they gave out all of the details. The purchase has to be for clothing, school supplies and one other thing they said. Then, it has to be under $100 to qualify-I think that one was for those who have more than enough $ to throw at this kind of thing and will buy the store LOL.

The stores are estimating that it'll be like christmas as far as the crowds are concerned. Plus, there are alot of stores that are doing back-to-school sales anyway. Some of the department stores have huge sales going along with it too. I'm supposed to be going to the mall today so I'll get to see 1st hand how it's going to be.....I'm not all that excited though because after all that, I remembered that I'm broke this weekend WAAAAHHHHH!!!

Today I got some REALLY bad news. My best friend's(even tho we don't speak alot) lil bro. just passed today. I'm very saddened by this especially since he didn't get a chance to go away to college or have children or be stalked by crazy women yet. I hate that he didn't get a chance to have any of the experiences that I have even though I'm only 25. So, I'm hoping that the short while that he spend on this earth was a decent time since he didn't get a chance to make up for anything that he may have done. I hope that his soul will rest peacefully now that all of it is over. I don't know what the illness that he had was but apparantly it was worse than any of us was prepared for. I truly hate that we weren't as close as I would've liked but I guess that comes with us all growing up and moving on with our lives. Some odd reason, for like the past couple of weeks, he'd been on my mind anyways. Or at least his mother was. I almost went by to visit a couple of times. I guess that's what I get for not stopping by to say hello. I now have to deal with a friend not living past 21 and it being strictly for health reasons. I can't imagine being able to live w/out my lil bro if it were me. I don't get why he had to be so sick at such a young age. Since we all grew up together, it just seems wrong that I won't be able to see his lil ones since he won't have the chance to have any or meet his new wife since he won't have one of those either. Most of all, I feel the worst for his mother because I know that NO parent wants to bury their child. No parent wants to ever have to think about having their child die before them. They just think about or hoping that they raised their children well enough that they can survive on their own once they have gone from this earth. I don't ever want my daughter to have to go through that I just never wanted anyone to have to go through that. I think that is the worst thing aside from the fact that you're loosing a loved one in the first place. is that not only it's a loved one, but a person that hasn't had the chance to live yet. They haven't been able to see anything or experience the things that an adult would go through to make them the person they were meant to be. I just can't imagine anyone going through it and to see it happening so close to home...I mean I considered him to be my little brother even though we had our issues sometimes and we had times where we laughed together....There were times where we would be very close then others where we wouldn't even speak to one another for a few days....but I guess now we won't be "speaking" at all anymore. I guess that's the part that I'm going to hate even most is that we didn't get the chance to have the relationship that I would've liked. But I guess it's too late for that. Lord, I ask that you take care of William C. Payne, III that his soul can rest in peace knowing that he won't be in pain anymore. I wish that all is well with him and that he is in your loving arms as we speak. Amen.

Today I've discovered a java-script photo album. Unfortunately, the host that I have my site w/now doesn't allow users to run their own scripts. I'm too mad @ that because this is soo cute n cool. It's really easy to set up and it comes with catagories and everything. I really like it. Tomorrow, I'm going to try and make some progress on the Site I'm working on. I'm just getting the payment module together then I'll be done.

Today, I was sooo upset because I went to take my lil one to the circus, and found out that the show we PAID for tickets for wasn't even going to happen!!! I was too mad!!! I mean how do you not have a show that tickets were sold for and then say that they weren't supposed to be even selling them. Although, after I calmed down(when reason usually peeks out) I realized that the show times they advertised for today would have been a smidgeon hectic. They had a 10am show, the 4pm show(the one that was cancelled) and the 7:30pm show. Logic finally was able to scream louder than my anger and told me that since the circus is about 2-3 hours long tha they wouldn't have been able to pull that off. Every person and animal would have been rediculously tired and exausted. I'm just going to have to suck it up and wait for next year even though I was all geeked about going this year.

I think I have more fun than my lil one when I take her places. Like to the movies(since every old character is coming back) and when we saw sesame street on stage(cus it brought back such fond memories plus I knew all the songs) the only place that I take her that I don't have a whole bunch of fun is chuck-e-cheese. The only enjoyment I get is just watching her play and when I play skee-ball. I guess eventually I'll grow up and quit enjoying the stuff that she's in love with too.....

I have FINALLY finished moving my personal site!!! WOO HOO!! I moved it to Free Host Department and it's great. The only thing that I'm having issues with is that I can't seem to change my password. I can't seem to remember the stinking thing and I requested for it to be sent to my email addy and it neva came. Oh well....
Home Interiors update....I got my order in and everything went fine. I even printed up some coupons offering 20% off of their next order. I'm hoping that will generate some sales. I enjoy doing this whole thing but I'll enjoy it even better when I'm doing really well....
Tomorrow I have to do sooo much stuff!! I have to deliver orders, go to the library, work on that ladys Tags Site, and I plan on finishing my book too. Hopefully I'll be able to get up early(I seriously doubt that since I'm up now) and get everything done before 4pm. That way I can just sit back and relax for the evening aside from cooking dinner.

Friday, July 16, 2004

Today I've been runinng all over the STL!!! Thanks to an Emergency, I've been up since like 5am (WAHHH!!) Oh well I'll get over it.
Now I've got to track down my shipment for Home Interiors. I'm SOOOO SICK of the delivery people. They offer the option of checking on the shipment online which is great because that lets me know when I can expect my shipment and be home. But then then turn around and put that it was delivered and it hasn't been at all!!! So now I have to call and harass these people and let them know that lying will get them nowhere with me. I just don't get why I have to be the one to be on the recieving end of this crap!! GRRRR!!! So now I have to take time outta my life, and call them to let them know they lied AGAIN so they can deliver my shipment. I have better things to do than deal w/this. But I guess that's all part of having a business like that. Oh well.....Tirade over :)

Monday, July 12, 2004

Missdumplin THA Supachik!! well I've been working on my family site for the past few days. Trying to get some interesting content there. I don't know what else I'm going to add other than a comic page. Tomorrow I go back to work on that business site so that I can just go ahead and get it completed. I'm determined not to give up on it, but I'm definitely goin to get some help.
This week marks the beginning of the fund-raiser that I'm doing with a local daycare. They're going to be selling candles so that they can go to Six Flags. Fortunately, I was able to get some coupons sent to me for them so they won't have to shell out full price for everyone. I'm just hoping that a free trip to six flags will motivate them enough to sell alot of candles. I'm just hoping that this won't turn into a fiasco like the last fund-raiser I tried to do with the same daycare. That way I'll at least have one under my belt.
