This week was rather short since I only had to go to school today and yesterday(not a complaint) but Friday is going to be too crazy at work. There were a bunch of people looking for items in the ad that came out but they were all for the "blitz" sale-after thanksgiving sale-so I had to deal with their attitudes since I couldn't show them a "sample" item. I'm like just get ova it it's not that deep...it's only a sale. Well starting friday the store is going to be packed with folks trying to get their christmas shopping out of the way. From what I heard all of the sale items were online early so I'm sure there's going to be a BUNCH of folks there at 5am when the store opens. Too bad I'm not going to be there to see the hilarity. Last year, there was this woman who ran by my dept. like five times with her cart tire screeching and all. I was cracking up that was too funny to me. I can't wait to hear the early morning stories when I get to work friday. Luckily I don't have to be there at the crack of dawn. The birds aren't even up that early!!!!

Today I really don't want to go to work. But that's almost everytime I'm supposed to go I don't want to LOL School was ok but I haven't been able to chat really in a while. I need to get my pc together so I can get online at home. This using misc. pc's isn't even cool. Tomorrow I hope to be able to get a little bit of rest before I go to work. Which I know already I'll be late getting to since I have stuff to do before I get there aside from the fact that we're still sharing the one car(my car) The other day I got into my car and noticed that he'd changed the presets on my radio. I'm like WHAT THE CRAP!!! You have to get your own car like NOW!! I mean I love him n all but dag that is my car still. Oh well, I'll get over it. Hopefully this will be the last week that we ride together. Then I'll be able to get some real sleep instead of getting up all early to get to school late. That drives me so crazy. I do well in school but it looks really bad that I can't get there on time. After I graduate, I'll find out if they release that info to any job that I apply for. Even though I know that is an integral part of my professional image as far as any employer is concerned. I just hope that it doesn't hurt me too bad since this is just the 2nd session.

school update....I've pulled it together this week for my test grade. Much better than last weeks fiasco. Unfortunenately I can't stay awake though to save my life. I don't know what it is but this class can't keep me awake for crap. Oh well maybe if I start going to bed earlier I'll be able to get some much needed rest and be able to stay awake for class in the am. I can't wait until we start doing some acual drawing instead of the math portion that we're doing. I only expect to get a B out of this class since I can't draw to save my life really. I soooo suck at board drafting!!!
work update...I don't wanna go!!!! LOL

Ok Second session has begun and the way they have our classes set up they have us moving backwards so to speak. Last session I had the intro to Auto-CAD class. Now, I've stepped into the stone ages with the board drafting class. I sooo suck at board drafting! I just hope I'm able to pull it together this session and do well. This class is also dealing with my favorite math concept. Fractions...I'm crying right now but you can't see me :( anyways, I just realized that I'm getting old. My 10yr HS graduation anniversary is next year. Yes, the fractions made me remember that. Especially since I couldn't remember any of the rules that go along with the fractions. I'm getting better though. Now, we've moved on to the exponents and scientific notation. I'm doing better with that than with the fractions needless to say. The whole thing just makes me feel so "special" lol since I can't remember anything that came before HS so now I have to accually study to pass this class. That's a first for me. I've never really had to study. So this is annoying me all to hell. I'll get over it though.
Work update....this past week I found out that we now have a new(and more strict) dress code. I think they might as well just tell us we have to wear uniforms and call it a day. The mgmt is saying they want our store to be a more professional place. I'm like dude, it's walmart...not saying we shouldn't have a dress code at all but I'm not willing to get all of my clothes all dirty just from being at work(not doing anything) and getting misc. dirt all over me from just standing there.

I haven't been able to get online lately since my pc is down(again) and it's soooo killing me!! It's like I'm cut off from the rest of the world and not able to 'talk' to any of my family that is out of town. It seems as if we've become very 'net dependant' as far as communication is concerned. That is when we have time to chat with one another....
School update....Well today is the last day of my first "phase" of class. Now I have to prepare myself for the next phase of my program. I have to take board drafting all over again!!! ARGH!!! Man that is one class I could've done without especially for the third time over. I'm just hoping that since it will be my third time taking this class, that I'll be able to get my speed up to par and be able to just breeze through it like I did for this class.I'm glad that I've done well for this class. Tomorrow, I get to sleep in!!! WOO HOO!! That will be sooooo wonderful.
Ok...Work update....Well I believe that I've seen everything(or alot of madness) at work. A couple of weeks ago, (cover the kiddies eyes for this one) there was a girl outside in front of the building that decided that she was going to give her guy friend fellatio in FRONT OF THE STORE!! In broad daylight and with everyones kids, grandparents etc. just walking by. I'm like what the crap is wrong with you!!!???? I don't understand what would make somebody do that!! At least do it in the car and get busted by the police with the giant light shining on your goofy looking faces like normal folks!! Then not only did she do that, she then proceded to "mount" the guy(still in front of the store) I'm like they are just NASTY!!! Why would you do that in front of a store like walmart!!! Well, needless to say they were both arrested....Flippin Geniuses.

Well I've started school and I'm BORED TO DEATH!!! So far, I'm ahead of my class in doing the math portion. It's good for me though because it's a refresher of what I did in HS back in the day. I'm glad that I've started back going because it means I'm that much closer to making alot more money and having less financial stress than before. The blessings for this happening are like endless. Since I will have more education that'll enthuse my daughter to do more with her life and she'll go to college and get a better degree than I'll have. Everyday I'm sooooo AMPED to go to class everyday. It's so funny because I'm the only one in my class that works as well as going to school so I definitely have to be on top of my game.
As of late, I've been spending alot of time posting in a forum on this site called MamaTales.com It's really cool. It's a site for mature(mello not old) adults who like to share ideas and experiences. I so LOVE this site because I get to be in contact with soo many more people than I would without the internet. Plus, I get to give my two cents whenever I can to somebody who needs advice. It's a really cool site and I've met alot of great new people. They're all nice and very helpful.
Work update....I'm still working at everyones favorite store...Walmart...so It's CRAZY crowded today and I was soooo busy in my department. If I wasn't crazy I would've thought it was cristmas season in there today. That's how many folks there were in there. Everywhere you went there were a bunch of people. Even in the fabrics department!!!LOL I was just like...wow what's really going on?? You would've thought they were really giving something away in there the way the families were packed in there. And forget getting any school supplies altogether!!! Like EVERYTHING was running out. Then on top of some of the schools starting tomorrow, alot of people were out getting things for their houses since the electricity was out in alot of homes in the STL. I personally was SUFFERING!!! My closet sized apt. was soooo HOT!!! and don't even mention the fact that we live on the 2nd floor!! Man we had to vacate the premises this am so no one would melt in the house!!! So anyways, walmart ran out of lamp oil. I was like man that's interesting. Then of course there was a bilion and threee people asking for it since there wasn't anymore of it. I was like THAT'S CRAZY!!!
Well I have to go to bed I have school in the am......

MY ELECTRICITY IS OFF!!!! OMG!!! What am I going to do???!!!! We have nothing on at our house. Well I just hope it's back on soon.....

Well I went to do my financial aid yesterday and found out that I can't get a student loan. That just hurt my feelings. Especially since this is something that I want soooo badly. Not only do I want it, I need to finish school. Otherwise I'll be unemployed and poor beyond all belief. I have to find a way to get into school. Waiting any longer will just kill me. I can't take it!!! ARGH!!! *&^!*@&*^@^^%!&@)(&*(*^#&*&!!@#$!!

Ok it's been forever sice I last posted anything. Alot has happened, cars have broken down, I've registered for school and I'm going to be changing my site pretty soon just as my semi-yearly "makover". I'm not sure what colors I'm going to go for this time but it'll probably be bright since it's summer time.
I've been given the opportunity to work on another site. This one won't be from scratch, it'll be just an expansion of what's already in place. Arch You Hungry So now I have to put on my game face because anything less than my all is just unacceptable. I've already gotten a few ideas on what I want to do but since the business is a resturant, I want to get a chance to eat there pretty soon LOL I mean you know I do have to check out the product, don't I LOL...
Well as of Aug. I'll OFFICIALLY be in school. With that pesky student loan out of the way I can get on with my life. That soooo felt like I was being held in a dungeon or something waiting for the calvary to come save me LOL but I'll get over it as soon as I step into the classroom for the first time. Until then I have to brush up on my math and drawing skills. Since I'll have to take Manual Drafting ALL OVER AGAIN!!! Man that was the one class that annoyed me the most. Maybe because my speed wasn't all that great LOL well since I have another chance to do it again I'll do better this time. I kinda have to do better since I do plan on getting a job. Now we don't want to waste over 30k now do we? Of course we don't!! Plus I just refuse to take that class YET AGAIN!! If I don't do well I'll just have to go into a whole different profession like programming or something. Even though I doubt I'll even be able to stay awake in those classes yet pass them with satisfactory grades LOL
My lil one is now registered for school. Too bad I didn't find out about the summer classes until they were all full. The bad part is they were FREE!! I just can't believe I missed it. But oh well there's always next year. And trust me she will be going to it next year!!

This weekend my father passed away. I didn't get a chance to know him all that well since his presence in my life ended officially when I was only 7. He later moved to AZ and continued his life with his now widow. I hated him for so many years for that. I was very confused...couldn't understand what I could've possibly done to make him leave me. Why he never called came by or sent b-day cards or presents or anything. I was a very pissed off individual once I got older and realized that none of his actions were my fault. It was because he was very selfish from my point of view and didn't want to be bothered. It took years for me to get over not having a father around. Really I don't think I'm over it now but I am much better than I used to be though. His wife/widow is sooooo retarded. She knows that the WHOLE family is here in the STL but chose to have the funeral in AZ. I can go along with that because nevertheless, that's her husband and her choice. But then, she decides to have the funeral NEXT TUESDAY!!!! I've already gotten my bereavment(that doesn't look right) set up with my job as well as a few others in my family. I think she could've at least given us warning that she may wait so that everyone can make it. Then folks wouldn't have pulled strings to get the days off to go. ARATGAL;SDKJFA;SLDKFJA I'm sooo upset with this now. I mean it's bad enough that he wasn't in my life really but now I have to wait a whole nother week to say g'bye to him. I mean really that woman is out of her rabbit a** mind!!!!

OMGoodness!!! I am soooo sickly this week(sniffle...sniffle) it just feels like I'm moving in sllooooo motion all the time. Except for now since I'm typing pretty well LOL I'll be much better later on after I drug myself and get some sleep(which is the real culprit here..not my cold) it's amazing how sensitive my body is. I've been skimping on sleep lately for various reasons, and now I have a cold. Darn it!! Oh well I'll get over it.....
Work update: WOO HOO!!! I did my very 1st ear pearcing the other day. I have to applaud the guy who let me do it since he didn't even know me . I'm sure my dept. mgr thinks I'm a loon because I was soo proud that I didn't mame the guy or anything. That was my real concern was hurting/maming someone. I wasn't nervous about doing the piercing itself at all. Of course I didn't say that part while he was there...

HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY YAHOO!!! That site has definitely earned it's 10th birthday with all of the great products that they offer all rolled into one user account. Not only that but Yahoo! has combined forces with SouthWestern Bell to create a seamless gateway (SBC Yahoo!) for all SBC internet users(of which I am one ) and I've been a regular yahoo account holder since 98'.

Yahoo! is sooo great! They allow their users to be themselves no holds barred. To include your own personal page, profile, multiple IM ID's for those who have the "pleasure" of having a net "stalker"(so to speak), photo album that you can share and online file storage just to name a few. Unlike some other sites that offer some of the same features, they don't sensor you in the chatrooms, message boards etc.-unless you're one of the aforementioned net "stalkers" who have been reported-the user has total control over their account! Now how great is that??!! so again I say

Work update...Today was pretty cool. I was FINALLY able to get all of my work done and get all of the freight put away. So now there isn't a bazillion and six boxes lying all over the place looking raggady. I still forgot to dust(yest dust) off the sunglasses(again) but there's always next time. I don't think I'm ever going to get off while it's daylight EVER again. I'll get over it. I kinda like the night crew better than the day crew anyways since they are more "colorful" LOL. No shananagins tonight to speak of other than this one lady cleared out like four rings from me like 2 mins. till close and I didn't get to put new ones out.
Iv'e been soooo tired lately. I just realized that I really do need to start taking my breaks. It just doesn't seem like I'm doing that much work though. At least not until I get home that night and sit down for like three mins. or so. Eventually I'll start to remember to take my breaks like I'm supposed to.

This weekend has been soooo busy at work. I feel bad for just about every man that came into the store. Just about ALL of them were totally clueless about what they were going to get the women in their lives for V-Day. I was like C'mon...work with me here!!! Even the older men-who you would think had it together-didn't have a clue as to what they were going to get. There were a few that were just HILARIOUS though. But I guess all that doesn't matter, it's the thought that counts...bla...bla...bla Tomorrow should be just as busy/entertaining. I finally decided to quit bein' a lazy bum and cooked my lunch tonight so I won't have to spend half of my lunch going across the parking lot to get food. Baked Chx wings and rice. It's going to be sooooo fire!!!(good) LOL AW SNAP!! It's 2am!! I'm going to be tired as all get out tomorrow....

Today I heard from somebody I haven't spoken to in YEARS!! It was cool. Anyways, I have soooo many stories from tha gig I can't even find time to type them all tonight. So I'll just do a couple or ten
Well tonight I was off but had to stop in for a few things. There was this lady and her kids in the middle of the asile and I said "excuse me" nobody moved they kept talking so I said it again the woman said ok and still nobody moved. So then I said it kinda loud and she decided to glare at me like I gave a crap. I mean c'mon...personally I thought I was being nice by not just pushing one of them out of my way.
NEXT...a guy is at the Jewelry counter getting a ring for is soon to be fiance and he's being all cheap trying to get her a thirty dollar, ruby birthstone ring for an engagement ring. Since I wasn't on the clock, I was able to give my honest opinion when asked. I said "HE** NAW" don't go in there w/that crap!!! My co-workers were cracking up at me but I was so serious I was just trying to do my civic duty and not get that brutha cut when tryin go propose.
NEXT...a customer had a check that he printed up at home and didn't understand why they couldn't use it to pay for their items. They tried to explain to them that anyone who got their account number could easily get the routing number and then print up checks at home. Genius decided to get irate and yells at the manager "I will befriend this policy! I don't appreciate it at all! Maybe I won't shop here anymore!!" ok now I'm hoping that I wasn't the only one who realized that BEFRIEND didn't belong in that little tirade I went to the break room and was CRACKING UP!!! Ok that's all I can think of for now but man I have a million of'em!!!!
School update...well by the end of this year I WILL be in school since the wonderful and oh so friendly IRS took my little return and applied it to my old student loan. Which I'm not all that mad about since it's finally over and done with. I'm just mad I couldn't afford to pay them on my own. Oh well too late. I'm thinking of just going back to my original passion in Architecture since EVERYTHING dealing with computers is sooooo saturated, the chance of me accually getting a job seems to be slim to none. So my passion has officially won. For now anyways. The more I think about it the more the decision becomes clouded. I'll get it together...kinda have to since I'm spending my own $ on it.

Hello.com From reading this site, it seems like it'll be a promising picture sharing prog. to use vs. me trying to upload pictures to my site anytime I want to share something. Then from the looks of it if I share an album w/somebody, they don't have to sign up for anything just to view my pictures. That I think is very cool. Having to sign up for something is so inconvenient when all you're tying to do is view something. Blah.

FINALLY...my pc is workin!!!! WOO HOOO!!! oh my goodness so much has been going on. I was almost stranded yesterday @ my moms house(NOOOOOOOO!!) since my key wouldn't turn so I could start my car. I then got yelled at(literally) for having on jeans @ work the other day. I found it rather funny since they acual yelling wasn't necessary. Then, this guy comes through my line to flirt with me which I was so flattered by I'm just glad he didn't ask me for my phone number since I would have had to say no. I bought my guy a shirt and tie today and his a** was very ungrateful I thought and didn't like it and wanted to get an attitude about it. I'm just like don't send me to buy stuff for you anymore then. I didn't see the logic in that at all. Why ask me to go get clothes so you can complain about it later. That's just redundant since I'm going to get myself somethin when I take his stuff back tomorrow am muhahahahaha :)

Home Interiors: I had decided to let it "go" since I didn't have the time or resources to put into my own business like I wanted to. But the woman who brought me in encouraged me to keep going so now I have to produce and make something of it. Especially since this is my 2nd time attempting to sell Home Interiors. It's a great product but just not a real market for it in my area since we have all the "mart's" are like around the corner and you can get stuff you want there...now and cheaper. However, the plan is definitely to give it a ginune attempt.
Work: Ok I now work for "wally-world" and it's ok I just hate having to deal w/all of the CRAZY folks that come there!!! Other than that, it's great. My coworkers are cool people and very helpful. It's kinda funny that some of my direct supervisors are younger than I am.
Reading: I had to pause on reading "The Red Church" for a while because I started reading something that was a little more interesting. This book is called "A Day Late and a Dollar Short" it's really good and made me cry on several occaisions. SO it was a really great book. Now I'm reading "Mama" it's ok so far...not as good as "A Day Late and a Dollar Short" so I think I'm going to go back to reading "The Red Church" shortly. I think my break was long enough to get over the wierdness.
